Description
Introducing our custom designed 14 pin Attachment Control test box for all 14 Pin Deutsch HD series equipped skid steer attachments. I made the first one of these over 5 years ago for my own personal use to troubleshoot attachments before I bothered to work on them or wire up harnesses. I worked on a lot of used attachments so who knows how they were wired. Using this box enabled me to quickly test all function of the attachment and record the letter of which pin did what on the attachment. This made it easy for me to correct wiring issues or diagnose solenoid problems before I even started to work on the attachment.
Using this test box made it much faster for me to map the correct machine controls in the cab to the exact function on the attachment. It maps every pin in the standard 14 pin connectors installed on all modern attachments. This is an awesome tool to own and I highly recommend one in your toolbox if you are a hard core skid steer attachment guy like myself.
It is designed to plug into your machines cigarette lighter receptacle. If you do not have one, you can add a battery pack to the unit and use it remotely. Does not include the battery pack unless you order it.
Works with the following machine attachments:
- Old Bobcat 14 Pin - Not the new CAN 7 pin
- Case
- Gehl/Mustang
- Cat D-Series
- Kubota
- New Holland
- Takeuchi
- Yanmar
- Some new ASV's using 14 pin
- Manitou
- Develon
- Hyundai
John Deere - It will work with John Deere by moving the ground wire by completing the following. Open the 14 pin connector from the back, remove the wire located in pin A. Remove the black wire located in pin B and slide it into pin A. The wire that was located in pin A will no longer be used when you are testing John Deere machines because they use it as a ground. I suggest that you move the A pin to B in the attachment so you are not messing with the control box.
It's an essential tool for shops or people who just want to troubleshoot their attachments and know how their controls operate each function.
