The CAN Pro is a Patent Pending Controller that plugs into most 14 pin skid steer or compact track loader connectors and converts your machine’s 12 volt outputs into the CAN communication language used by Bobcat attachments.

This allows your attachments to operate exactly as if they were connected to a Bobcat loader.

Using proprietary technology, the CAN Pro spoofs the Bobcat communication system, allowing the attachment to recognize and respond to your machine’s controls.

Plug the controller into your machine’s 14 pin connector, connect it to the attachment, and operate the attachment directly from your controls.

If you can plug a connector into a receptacle, you can run the CAN Pro.

An integrated LED indicator confirms the controller has power and is receiving commands from the loader while transmitting signals to the attachment.

How It Works

The CAN Pro reads the 12 volt outputs from your machine’s 14 pin connector and converts them into the CAN commands required to actuate Bobcat attachment solenoids.

This process happens instantly through an onboard microprocessor and driver circuit, creating a seamless communication bridge between the machine and the attachment.

Unlike simple wiring adapters, the CAN Pro is an active electronic controller that translates machine signals into the CAN communication language used by Bobcat attachments.

This is why it performs like a factory connection.

Important Hydraulic Note

Bobcat hydraulic couplers are reversed compared to most manufacturers.

Before using the CAN Pro you must reverse your hydraulic couplers.

For mixed fleets, many operators either:

• Swap couplers on the new machine
• Keep a set of gender changers in the cab for quick connection

When You May Not Need A CAN Pro

If you only have one or two Bobcat attachments and want to run them on a different brand of machine, a bypass harness may be a simpler and lower cost solution.

Bypass harnesses are direct wired connections with no electronics.

The CAN Pro is designed for operators who want full functionality and the flexibility to move attachments between multiple machines.

Important Note Regarding Kubota Machines: It has come to our attention that some machines are equipped with sticks that are missing some controls. You will need to upgrade your sticks to have all of the functions operate properly. If you only require 4 functions but two are not working it is because those two functions are missing on your sticks. We can send you instructions on moving two pins so that those functions are accessible. Otherwise you cannot operate any attachment with more than 4 function including the graders and cold planers. CAT Next Gen and Develon

Compatible with CAT D255, 265, 275, and 285 Next Gen Series and Develon machines.

• Specially pinned to match Bobcat control functions as closely as possible

• AUX 8 must be used for power

• AUX 7 functions as a shift key, providing four additional functions for a total of 8 functions from 4 buttons plus laser control on graders.

High Flow Attachments

A hidden jumper inside the connector allows high flow activation.

Manual connection required:

• Connect to K for XPS

• Connect to N for XE or XHP

If you have high flow and low flow attachments there is a jumper inside the female connector OF THE CAN PRO that you can jumper to K for XPS or N for XE/XHP. You will need to remove this jumper if you switch back to low flow attachments. To make life easier, we have created this jumper harness. Simply install it when you are operating high flow attachments and remove it when you are operation low flow attachments.
